    hi i,m writing this because my partner took out an £80.00 loan from them then he lost his job today they have in total taken around £300 in payments from our joint account been told nothing i can do it was my money not my partners they have left me with nothing

    I took out a loan in September 2009 for £100 while I was a student and I was then diagnosed with a severe mental illness. I buried my head in the sand and after moving back with my parents and getting my life back on track I was shocked to see over £900 taken out of my account. They were all small amounts and they managed to get my details as I applied for another payday loan with a seperate entity (turned out to be Ariste Holding Ltd- the same company that Cash Genie is owned by). I had to get the police and my bank's fraud team involved and it resulted in me speaking to a Manager, who told me they had sent 6 seperate letters which never arrived. I told them that the Police were not so interested in the fact that I owed money, but the amount of interest and the way in which it was taken. After hearing this they refunded me £439 as they left me with nothing to pay my rent with
